Hello Powerful People!
There is no question that everyone wishes to be successful in life, but there is a huge difference between dreaming and actually working hard to achieve that goal. The road to a successful life can be paved with uncertainty and sacrifices, but the truth is that it can also be sprinkled with achievement and joy.
We all get off track. We all get confronted when we are up to big things and shifting how we show up in the world. It’s perfectly OK.
When you get off track I invite you to remind yourself that’s it’s ok. I want you to remind yourself that it’s perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed by being off track. I encourage you to remember to rest if you need to and to hold fast to these three reasons to never give up.
Failure is part of the process to success.
One of the things that all successful people have in common is that they all failed many times before they achieved their goals. One of the most important things to consider when you decide to pursue your dreams is that you are probably going to fail many times before you can achieve those goals. Think of each time you fail as a learning experience that is going to get you closer to your goals and the wonderful thing is you can always reset.
Success and happiness require work.
The biggest issue that some people have is that they think that they deserve happiness just because they want it. There are also people who think they deserve to be successful and to have the life they always dreamed of, but the truth is that you need to pursue happiness and success if you want them in your life. It’s the work that helps you swing the pendulum towards the life you desire.
Keep solid structures as a part of your routine to help you stay on track so that you continue to do the work. There are some days I don’t feel like using my structures, like writing in my Ease & Flow 31-Day Journal, but I know how wonderful it feels when I’ve done so. Do the work. The work works.
You might be on the brink of a diamond mine.
This comes from a very popular story about a man who decides to go into a mine to find diamonds and become a millionaire. He goes into a mine and he starts to dig for days, months and years, but he never finds anything. One day he decided to quit and another man took over only to dig for a few hours to find the diamonds the other man was looking for. The moral of the story? You never know how close you are to achieving success, so never quit just because things get difficult.
Some of my clients have experienced all of the above and discovered that not giving up had its rewards. Not giving up paid off! Here are just a few wins from my clients (hey, as coach I get bragging rights!).
- Two clients found love after having breakthroughs in believing that they could. (wedding bells? Yes!)
- A client started her travel business and now has more business than she can keep up with (we are working on putting resources in place so she can reap all of the goodness!)
- Another client moved clear across the country to his dream home (palm trees and swimming pools!)
I’m so inspired by them and I’m inspired by your fortitude! Keep going.
Love,
Sophia |
